Budding Reader eBooks. Budding Reader eBooks is a socially responsible company on a mission to make learning to read easier and more fun for children, especially struggling readers. We’re partnered with literacy nonprofits, World Literacy Foundation and Worldreader and pledge to donate an eBook every time we sell one. So far we’ve donated thousands of our award-winning books to children in need and this back to school season (now through September 7th) we’re making the first book in this research-based series, “Budding Reader Book Set 1: Cat and Rat” free for everyone because money should not be a pre-requisite for a positive first reading experience.
